It is 2024, and retired doctor Carys Kuta is sitting on her plush sofa at home, drinking a glass or two of, no doubt, decent red wine, while watching the television news. The news is distressing... so many wars nowadays. Pictures of starving children clamouring for food flash across the screen. But what can she possibly do about it? She had given up protesting many years ago, and anyway, they never achieved anything. As the broadcast draws to a close, the news reader announces that a demonstration is to be held the next day in the city's main concourse. At that precise moment Carys is catapulted into a series of events that are completely beyond her control. My story is called 'Protest' and is available in both e reader and as a paperback.

Imprisoned for defying her country's military adventures, retired doctor Carys Kuta finds her life turned upside down. Never in her wildest dreams could she have imagined the events that would follow. A tale of love and friendship, loyalty and political intrigue that spans two continents.

For many writers, earning a living is of paramount importance. But what is also important for every one of us who enjoys writing, is to know that we have readers. If you do read my book , I would love you to let me know your thoughts via this blog. Who knows, your advice may well fuel my next book!
